Setting Up New Interview Campaigns

Launching an asynchronous video assessment is straightforward and takes only a few minutes of preparation. By organizing your interviews into targeted campaigns, you can seamlessly scale your preliminary screening while maintaining a uniform, objective evaluation experience for every applicant.

This standardized setup ensures that every candidate is evaluated against the exact same baseline, removing human bias from your early-stage selection process.

Step 1: Initialize the Campaign
  1. Navigate to the Interview menu from the left-hand sidebar of your Mimo recruiter dashboard.
  2. Click the Create button (located in the top right corner of the screen) to open the campaign setup window.
  3. Enter a clear and descriptive name for your campaign (such as "Senior Business Analyst - Batch 1") to keep your workspace organized and recognizable for your team, then click Create.

Step 2: Compose Your Interview & Define AI Rules

Once the campaign is initialized, you will land on the Compose tab. Here, you will connect your job requirements and draft your questions:

  1. Select the corresponding Job Description from the dropdown menu in the upper right. This connects your interview directly to your target role so the AI can evaluate answers with proper context.
  2. Click the + Question button to add an interview prompt. You can input up to a maximum of 10 questions per interview session to maintain optimal candidate completion rates.
  3. For each question, define the specific Topic you want to evaluate (such as "Role Understanding" or "Technical Competence") and select the target Evaluation Criteria (such as "Clarity & Communication").
  4. Customize the Recording Time Limit for each question based on the complexity of the prompt. You can set this limit up to a maximum of 3 minutes per question.
  5. Drag and drop questions using the reorder handles (the two-line icon) to ensure your interview follows a natural, conversational flow.

Step 3: Configure Campaign Settings & Scheduling

Switch over to the Settings tab to control the timeline and delivery language of your assessment:

  1. Locate the Schedule card and input your Start Date, End Date, and Time to define the exact window candidates have to submit their responses.
  2. Under the Speaker Language card, choose your preferred language (English or Bahasa Indonesia). This determines the language our automated AI presenter uses to deliver prompt cards and read questions to candidates.

Step 4: Setup the AI Proctoring System

To ensure a fair, honest, and highly reliable testing process, scroll down to the Proctor Settings card in the Settings tab. You can toggle on the following automated anti-cheating mechanisms:

  • Face Recognition: Verifies candidate identities. This feature ensures that the person taking the interview is the correct individual (not a proxy or substitute) and that they follow the process sincerely throughout the session.
  • Multifaced Detection: Flags third-party assistance. The AI monitors the frame for other people in the same room. If an additional face appears in the camera view, the system instantly flags it as a potential warning.
  • Gaze Tracking & Out of Frame: Monitors candidate focus. This checks that the candidate remains engaged with the screen and is not reading off-camera physical notes, looking away, or whispering with others outside the camera's field of view.
  • Force to End Session: Sets strict boundaries. Toggling this on will automatically terminate the interview session if a candidate attempts to pause or leave the recording screen three consecutive times.

Step 5: Invite Your Candidates
  1. Move to the Invite tab within your campaign dashboard.
  2. Select your target candidates directly from your pre-built Candidate Group or your Shortlist folder, then click Apply.
  3. Review your configured questions, schedules, and proctoring rules on the final screen.
  4. Click Publish to make the campaign live. This action generates a unique invitation link and a secure invitation code for your selected candidates, which they will use to record their responses on Mimo's secure mobile application.
