Using our smart assistant, you can build a clean, modern profile manually or let our AI instantly extract details from your existing resume.

Follow this sequential walkthrough to set up your profile, complete your resume sections, and generate an AI-optimized professional summary:

1. Access the Resume Builder: Open your Mimo mobile application, navigate to the Home page, and tap the Create Resume card.
2. Select Your Onboarding Method: Choose one of the two flexible options to begin importing your background:
   
   • Create New Resume: This option lets you build your profile from scratch, giving you total manual control over each section.
   • Upload Resume: This option allows you to upload an existing PDF or Word (.docx) document, and Mimo's AI will automatically parse and pre-fill your profile details.
3. Complete Your Core Sections (For Manual Setup): If you are building from scratch, fill in the designated cards with your details:
   
   • Contact Info: Enter your professional phone number, location, and links to your personal website or LinkedIn.
   • Work Experience: Detail your previous job roles, companies, dates, and bulleted achievements.
   • Education: Add your academic degrees, schools, and graduation timelines.
   • Skills: List your core technical competencies and industry soft skills.
4. Add Optional Supporting Sections: Tap the Add profile section button to enrich your resume. You can add specialized credentials, such as:
   
   • Language proficiencies
   • Professional courses
   • Industry certifications
   • Direct portfolio links (such as Behance or GitHub)
5. Generate Your AI Summary: Once your details are fully filled, tap Next: Summary at the bottom of the screen. Mimo's AI will automatically analyze your work history and skills to generate a highly professional, cohesive executive summary.
6. Review and Polish: Read through the AI-generated summary. If you want to make changes to the phrasing or highlight a specific achievement, tap Edit detail to customize the text.
7. Save Your Changes: Tap the Save button to finalize your profile data.
8. Preview Your Live Resume: Tap the Preview button to see your formatted Mimo resume. Your profile is now completely set up and ready to be automatically attached to your active job applications!
