We understand that managing candidate pools comes with a unique set of challenges—from handling creative layouts and foreign languages to dealing with duplicate submissions. These frequently asked questions are designed to help you navigate how Mimo’s parser handles resume variations, file constraints, and profile updates.
Currently, you cannot manually edit or adjust candidate details once they have been parsed by Mimo's AI. This safeguard is built-in to maintain a strictly objective, consistent evaluation baseline across your candidate groups.
If you notice any critical details that seem to have parsed incorrectly, please reach out to our team at hello@mimo.id. We will use your feedback to immediately optimize our parser for your upcoming uploads.
Yes, Mimo fully supports highly creative, multi-column, and image-heavy CV layouts that traditional, rigid ATS platforms often struggle to process. Our semantic engine reads candidate backgrounds contextually rather than relying on strict, linear text streams.
However, please note that we do not yet support parsing standalone creative portfolios, such as Behance links or external design folders. For best results, we recommend uploading the candidate's core resume as a standard PDF file.
Please do not worry if a candidate uploads a scanned, image-only document. Our platform utilizes advanced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to read text locked inside scanned JPG-to-PDF formats.
Once uploaded, the AI will process, extract, and score their qualifications seamlessly. There is no need to ask the candidate to resubmit their file or perform any manual text extraction yourself.
Currently, Mimo does not issue an automatic alert or block a file if a duplicate resume is uploaded to the same Candidate Group or across different folders. We understand that deduplication is highly important for maintaining a clean workspace, and our development team is actively building an automated alert system.
In the meantime, we recommend doing a quick alphabetical check of your candidate table to catch and manually delete any duplicate entries you might have uploaded by mistake.
You must upload CVs separately to each individual Candidate Group. Because Mimo evaluates candidates directly against the custom Job Description linked to that specific folder, candidate pools must be kept separate.
This localized approach ensures that suitability scores are highly accurate and tailored specifically to the requirements of each unique role in your pipeline.
Mimo treats every application as a brand-new opportunity. If a candidate applies to a new opening after being rejected in a past campaign, their previous rejection will not be factored into their new suitability score.
This ensures a completely unbiased, fresh evaluation based entirely on how their qualifications match your current, active job requirements.
Yes, Mimo can process resumes written in major global languages. While our core interface is optimized for English and Bahasa Indonesia, the system automatically translates foreign CV text to English during the parsing phase.
This automatic translation allows you to easily review, compare, and score candidates in your primary dashboard language without any manual translation delays.
Currently, Mimo does not extract personal demographic details such as gender, hijab usage, or profile photo attributes from CV files.
To help your team maintain a fair, unbiased, and compliant recruitment process, our AI focuses strictly on professional experience, skills, and qualifications during the screening phase.
